I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since I went natural. It was easily one of the most life changing decisions I’ve ever made. It wasn’t just about ditching chemical treatments, but about becoming my authentic self. I never expected to have taken hair care this far but i’m glad I did. Being bullied may have been the best thing to have ever happened to me, since it led me to where I am now. My journey is a testament to everyone to not let what other people say dictate what you choose for yourself. Do what you think is best and ignore the noise. If I listened to what people had to say about me and my hair, I wouldn’t be anywhere near where i’m at now.
